Raise your hand if you think 45 calorie bread is pointless?

Ok, so I thought I would share my latest find. Don't know about you but 45 calorie bread just doesn't cut it for me. I might as well be eating styrofoam. So on my search for something with a little more oomph when making a sandwich I found Oroweat Sandwich Thins. Only 100 calories, high in fiber, 0 trans fats,no high fructose corn syrup and they don't taste like saw dust either. I've also heard Pepperidge Farm has a similar product that is just as good, too. Enjoy! Hope you are all doing well on your weightloss journey. Good luck to everyone this week!!

  1. Hey, 45 calorie bread is 45 calorie bread if you only have 45 calories left to eat during the day.... I understand it sucks taste wise BUT, I also understand less caloric intake means more weight loss... :-)

  2. But for only a 10 calorie difference between two slices of the sandwich thins and two slices of the styrofoam, I choose the sandwich thins. In the time it took me to write this response I worked off those 10 calories, yay!! ;)

  3. I don't aim for calories when I buy bread. I aim for how nutritious is it. I buy only whole grain bread - and then just workout hte calories later. better to get nutritious carbs, than empty carbs...you can balance out the difference later. I am a big fan of Pepperidge Farm 15grain bread. yes, calories, yes, a bit high in carbs, bu its GOOD carbs and fiber. high energy - and keeps you feeling fuller, longer!!
